Here is the most comprehensive list of surf cams you'll find!! Many of these sites have great reports and predictions for surf as well.

When you watch the wave models or buoys, it's sometimes hard to predict the "fun factor" of the swell. Even those daily photo reports only show a snapshot in time (and usually only the best waves). If you can see what is happening, live, you'll have a much better idea of what you're in for.
