Competition Postponed
Thursday, September 30, 2004 (Hossegor, France) The Quiksilver Pro in France was postponed this morning due to small, unfavorable conditions. Round three of the Foster's men's ASP World Championship Tournament (WCT) will remain on hold until the expected WNW groundswell begins to show itself. Next decision is tomorrow morning at 8:30am (local time).

Reigning ASP WCT world champion Andy Irons will face lone Quiksilver wild card Johnathan 'Speedy' Gonzalez in round three.

The "Evian" party at Hossegor's Seaside Restaurant last night rocked into the early hours of this morning, with many of the world's best surfers and Quiksilver Pro officials part of the festivities. Money collected during the Modart .Keep a Breast' auction was handed to the Europa Donna Association by Roxy's Maritxu Darrigrand and French team rider Caroline Sarran.
When competition continues, 2000 world champion Sunny Garcia (HAW) faces Tom Whitaker (AUS) in the first heat. All other upcoming heats are listed below.
