Competition Postponed Due To Small Surf
Friday, July 16, 2004 (Jeffreys Bay, South Africa) The Billabong Pro was postponed this morning due to small surf. Organizers met at the crack of dawn to evaluate conditions, but the decision to wait for a new swell was made easy by the virtually flat lineup.

Australian Taj Burrow will be facing the lone South African WCT campaigner Greg Emslie in round 3.

Expectations are high for great waves to arrive within the Foster's Men's ASP World Championship Tournament's (WCT) generous waiting period, which runs through until July 23rd. Only two more full days are required to complete the 2004 event. Another decision will be made tomorrow morning by 7:30am (local time).
Meanwhile, many of the world's best surfers will utilize the lay-day by visiting nearby game parks to experience some of South Africa's other main attractions.
